COCOPEA TURNOVER CEREMONY

The Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines (COCOPEA) held a solemn and meaningful Turnover Ceremony on September 9, 2025, signifying a smooth transition of leadership and a renewed commitment to advancing the cause of Philippine private education.

The ceremony, held at Makati Diamond Residences, was graced by the presence of COCOPEA Presidents, Board Members, Executive Directors, and esteemed partners from various public and private educational associations who gathered to witness and support this significant milestone in the Council’s institutional journey.

DepEd Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara provided the keynote speech at the event. Hon. Jude A. Acidre, Chair of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education and EDCOM II Co-Chair, introduced the new COCOPEA trustees and officers while also sharing a message.

The highlight of the event was the formal turnover of the COCOPEA Chairpersonship from Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, President of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), to Dr. Betty Cernol-McCann, President of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities (ACSCU).

Partners and leaders of educational agencies also sent congratulatory notes as follows: DG. Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez, General Director of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA); Asec. Jocelyn DR. Andaya, Assistant Secretary for Operations at DepEd; Asec. Jerome T. Buenviaje, Assistant Secretary for Learning Strand at DepEd; CHED Commissioners Dr. Ethel Agnes P. Villanueva, Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, and Engr. Desiderio R. Apag III; Dr. Runvi V. Manguerra, Executive Director II of the Secretariat of the Teacher Education Council; and Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer, Executive Director of PEAC. Also present were EDCOM2 Executive Director Dr. Karol Mark Yee and Director Vernice Quintana from the DepEd Private Education Office. Atty. John R. Jacome, Managing Director of COCOPEA, acted as the Master of Ceremonies.

As COCOPEA enters this new chapter, the Council remains steadfast in its purpose: to serve as the collective voice of private educational institutions in the Philippines, and to champion a system where public and private education work hand-in-hand to ensure that no Filipino learner is left behind. – Article and photos source: COCOPEA FB Page

Now planning to come back when I have the right kind of attention to read carefully, and a stop at builddigitalgrowthpaths reinforced that plan, choosing the right moment to read certain content is a quiet form of respect for the work and this site is generating those careful planning behaviours from me consistently as a reader.

A modest masterpiece in its own quiet way, and a look at everydayvaluepurchase confirmed the same quiet quality across the rest of the site, calling something a masterpiece is usually overstating but for content this carefully crafted the word feels appropriate even if the writers themselves would probably resist the label honestly.

Reading this on a slow Sunday and finding it perfectly suited to a slow Sunday read, and a quick stop at globalshoppinginfrastructure kept the same gentle pace, content that fits the mood of the moment is something I notice and remember and this site has the kind of pace that suits relaxed reading sessions especially well.

Glad to have another data point on a question I am still thinking through, and a look at enterpriseunityframework added two more, content that acknowledges its place in a wider conversation rather than pretending to settle the question alone is intellectually honest in a way that I wish was more common across the open web.

Solid stuff, the kind of post that I will probably refer back to later this month when the topic comes up again, and a look at strategicgrowthpartnerships only confirmed I should bookmark the site as a whole rather than just this single page for future reference and use across coming weeks.

Honestly impressed by how much useful content sits in such a small post, and a stop at findsmarterbusinessmoves confirmed the rest of the site packs a similar punch, density without confusion is a hard balance to strike and this site has clearly cracked the code on it across many different topic areas covered.

Just wanted to say this was useful and leave a small note of thanks, and a quick visit to modernonlinepurchase earned a similar nod from me, the small acknowledgements add up over time and represent the real economy of trust that good content runs on across the open and increasingly fragmented modern internet.

Reading this gave me a quiet moment of intellectual pleasure that I had not been expecting, and a stop at reliabledealshoppingplace extended that pleasure across more pages, the unexpected reward of stumbling into careful writing is one of the small ongoing pleasures of reading the open web and this site is delivering it reliably.

Solid little post, the kind that does not need to be flashy because the substance is doing the work, and a look at clickforgrowthinsights kept that quiet confidence going across the site, this is what writing looks like when the writer trusts the content to land on its own without theatrics or unnecessary attention seeking behaviour.

Reading this gave me a small refresher on something I had partially forgotten, and a stop at learnfuturefocusedskills extended the refresher, content that strengthens existing knowledge rather than just adding new is content with a particular kind of consolidating value and this site is providing that consolidating function across multiple visits.

If the topic interests you at all this is a place to spend time, and a look at easydigitalretail reinforced that recommendation, the broader question of where to invest topical reading time is one this site answers convincingly through the consistent quality across multiple pieces I have sampled during the current reading session today.

Honest reaction is that this is the kind of writing I would defend in a conversation about good blog content, and a look at LibertyCadillac reinforced that, the rare site whose work I would actively recommend rather than just tolerate is the kind I want to support through return visits regularly.
